The Cities for Peace Program, a socio-educational and cultural action involving all segments of the community with the aim of improving human coexistence by promoting people’s well-being and happiness.
With the proposal of bringing society together to talk about violence and to seek integrated actions based on a common ground of interests, it involved approximately 500 volunteers from the various segments of the community, such as the public and private sectors, education, the third sector, and unions, among others.
The Cities for Peace Program has developed specific projects to build solutions through the actions of its own citizens seeking to realize a more peaceful and cooperative city.
The Cities for Peace Program has broadened and facilitated dialogue and cooperation among different ideological, doctrinal, party-political, religious, institutional, ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic preferences for the benefit of building a culture of peace.
